This is paradise

Our hotel is located in this city, which has much to offer visitors thanks to its historic heritage and natural setting.

SUGGESTED TOUR AROUND THE AREA
We suggest starting and finishing at the Ermita de San Pedro, which is in the vicinity of El Carpio (route distance: 4 km). This is an easy route that can be walked, cycled or even enjoyed on horseback.
DESCRIPTION
Leave the Ermita de San Pedro, which has stunning gardens and which pays homage to the patron saint of El Carpio, the Ecce Homo. Then continue to Las Grúas, a 16th century building that was previously used to irrigate the region.
Finally, you will reach lower Quintanilla by following a path that runs parallel to the left bank of the river. Osiers, poplars, willows, tamarisks, ivies, blackberry bushes and other climbing plants form a thick gallery forest on both sides of the river. This gallery forest serves as a roost for many birds, including cattle egrets and grey herons. Opposite Quintanilla is the Hydroelectric Power Station, which is the work of the architect, Castro Fernández Shaw, and the engineer, Carlos Fernández. It is one of the largest works of Andalusian architecture and it marked the beginning of the modern movement. It was awarded a gold medal at the International Exposition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925.
You will reach a point next to some irrigation engines where you will leave the riverbank, following a path in the direction of El Carpio. Another path, enshrouded in almond trees, on the left will take you to the Ermita de San Pedro once more. In the surrounding area, you will find San Antonio, which is a town that was created by the Instituto Nacional de Colonización (the National Institute of Rural Development and Colonisation in English) in 1958.
Due to its proximity to the river, you will be able to go fishing in San Antonio underneath a canopy of dense trees, while you could also enjoy the peace of its streets and setting.
